 W.A.L.T Understand the journey of an animals life

In inquiry we are looking at a journey of an animal I chose a seagull because I know what the answer is too it I read it in a book!

Seagulls dropping clams: Where do you think the seagulls picked up the clams from before dropping them onto rocks?

They pick up the clams hidden in the rocks or on the beach and also...

If the seagull drops the clam on sand it wont break unless there´s a hidden rock under the sand then it will break.

I think this because... its true iv´e read a book about it!

Prear reflection

 W.A.L.T Plan a prayer routine.

In room 2 we created prayer routines.

We had to do it in a group in my group there where Kalem, Jakob, Angus, tie and me and we made a slideshow for our prear routine here it is!!!

NZSO!!

So last week on a Thursday we went to the NZSO. It stands for New Zealand symphony orchestra.

Misses Moore gave the whole Senior syndicate tickets to go I wasn't that excited cause its just music but it was kinda cool

but here is what happened at the NZSO

Spelling week 7

 For our spelling this week we had to find out the word that is hidden in this word nafodieultein

It had something to this week and all we had on was Harold so It had something to do Harold and my guess was right the word was Life Education and do you know what the funny thing was as well it that I thought it was Education but Miss Pownall forgot the c in it so I was like no thats not it then.

Well thats what spelling was for this week cant wait for next spelling!!!

NBC Charism!!

W.A.L.T Understand the charism of our school 

We are learning about the Charism of New Brighton catholic school.

If you dont know what Charism is its our saying for our school Its where we say

• Contemplation (prayer and reflection)

• Communion ( working together in respectful love and mutual understanding)

• Mission (service and outreach to the needy)

Its kinda like our moto and I did some facts about it on a Google drawing so here it is hope you like it!

• The founders of our school are The lady of the mission

• Who are Our Sisters of Our Lady of the Mission and Euphrasie Barbier ‘Notre Dame des Missions’

• And what contemplation, communion and mission mean

•  working together-means we work together as one and we help each other

• Helping others-means we got to help each other through our journey

Swimming sports!!!!

 Last week we went to swimming at rawhiti school and it was awesome I came first but it was width so I wasn't that excited.

If you don´t know what width is its where you swim halve of the pool.

we had to make a google drawing of what happened at swimming sports so we did me Matias, fox, Alex, Olive, Dakota and me we made the google drawing and this is what it looks like hope you like it!!!
