WALT: use use the figures of speech from the week
Turns out we have to look after more guinea pigs.
They are called Bruce and Wayne yep they named after Bruce Wayne.
I guess they look like a Bruce and Wayne but still very weird name.
They are both boys and they never fight with each other, I think there brothers or there just friends.

Today for writing we are learning about a Hyper bole.
If you don't know what that is its when you would say I would die for the internet right now but you wouldn't

So today I tried my hardest to put this timeline of Jesus together.

If I was in Jesuses age I would shake hands with him and go to heal me from my sins

On Tuesday the 17 of August 2021 Emma Twigg a Olympian rower that came first in women's single scull rowing came to our tiny school in New Brighton now that's cool.
And this really happened she came and we asked a load of questions and people got auto graphs as well.
My favourite bit was when she showed us her medal it was very cool.

Today for reading we had to create aunty fluff.
Aunty fluff is a chicken from a story called junior journal 36 but the story inside the story is called chicken Olympics.
Our job was to make aunty fluff, but if your wondering what aunty fluff did at the chicken Olympics she had to get the seeds out of the pumpkin,
but the top of the pumpkin was open they just had to get top of the of the pumpkin.
Anyway here is my portrait of aunty fluff.
Today at our school some people came to put on a show. It was called The Boy With Wings.
It was about this bird the God wits and this boy called jack and he needed to find the treasure to save his apple trees that his great grandma planted and he had to go an "epic" adventure to find the treasure to save his trees. turns out the treasure was under a rock that he was standing on at the beginning so that whole adventure was worthless oh well.
I guest it was good but ive got some pictures of it so here they are!

Emma Twigg Going Gold

Emma Twigg Won gold at the women's single Scull at the Tokyo
Olympics on Friday the 29th 2021.
"For anyone who's had a little bit of failure…
just keep at it. If you believe you can do something and you know your worth,
then the world's your oyster.”
Emma Twigg had a massive lead for rowing;
she was more than another rowing boat away from all the other teams.
She was in front nearly the whole time.
When she finished first you could see her smile from the boat.
Emma was born on the 1st of march 1987. She started rowing in
Napier Girls High School.
Then she got into the sport and started going to the Olympics.
The first time Emma went to the Olympics her hard work paid off in 2008 when she was selected to
compete at the Beijing Olympic Games. Emma's performance at her first
Games was impressive – she finished third in the B final and ninth overall.
The Beijing Olympic Games were a great chance for Emma to gain more
experience in rowing at the Olympics.
In conclusion Emma Twigg
is great at rowing and we can't wait to see her winning gold again.
